I’ve been putting this off for a while, for a number of reasons, but mostly until I was ready and it was the right time. And IT IS! I’m so excited to be returning to “A Christmas Carol” at the Alliance Theater this year and to be officially joining the Actor’s Equity Union.
It’s no secret, I love to sing. And singing is something I have actually done very little of this year. Other opportunities have come along and taken my interest and time, opportunities that I am extremely grateful for…but the little singer section of my soul has been calling out for help lately so I gladly joined up with these fine folks for a great cause on Monday night. Gosh it’s nice to just get together and SING every once in a while. Thanks to everyone who came out to support Equity Fights AIDS and the American Lung Association. And thank you Leslie ahem…Christmas Eve…for putting this together!
So fortunate and grateful to have donned my curls and bonnet as part of The Alliance Theater’s “A Christmas Carol” again this year.
“I wake in my bed at daybreak and I see the white snow dimly through the frost on my window pane, and I remember…It is Christmas Day!”
Thanks to everyone at the Alliance and all my fellow carolers.
And just to give you an appreciation for how much work goes into building this set, check out the time lapse below 🙂
It’s not over til Louise sings out!
Runs thru June!
